Privacy Policy — Neuro Alarm

Effective date: August 18, 2026 Contact: pixxlpickle@gmail.com

Summary

Neuro Alarm collects the minimum needed to run a friends leaderboard: a username you choose, an anonymous account identifier, and your daily puzzle results. We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, contacts, location, or health data. We do not show ads. We do not sell or share your data with advertisers, and we do not track you across other apps or websites.

What we collect

Account identifier. When you first open the app, we create an anonymous account. This is a random identifier. It is not linked to your Apple ID, email, or phone number unless you later choose to secure your account with Sign in with Apple.

Username. A name you choose. It is visible to other users of the app, since that is how people find and add friends. Do not use your full legal name or any information you would not want other users to see.

Daily puzzle results. For each daily challenge you complete: the difficulty, your solve time, the number of attempts, and the date completed.

Friend connections. Which users you have sent friend requests to, and which requests you have accepted.

Blocks and reports. If you block or report another user, we store that record so we can act on it and keep the block in effect.

Technical data. Our backend provider may automatically process a limited amount of technical information, such as your IP address, to operate the service securely and to prevent abuse (for example, rate limiting). We do not use it to build advertising profiles.

Purchases

If you subscribe to Neuro Alarm Pro, your purchase is processed entirely by Apple. We receive confirmation that a subscription is active so we can unlock premium features, but we do not receive or store your name, card number, or billing address. Apple's handling of payment data is governed by Apple's privacy policy.

What stays on your device

Your alarm times, alarm sounds, notification settings, and app preferences are stored only on your device. They are never uploaded to our servers.

Who can see your information

Other users: your username is visible in search, so people can add you as a friend.

Accepted friends only: your daily puzzle results and history are visible to users you have accepted as friends. Nobody else can see them. If you remove or block someone, they lose access.

Nobody else. We do not publish, sell, rent, or share your information with third parties for marketing.

Where your data is stored

Account, username, friend, and result data is stored with Supabase, our backend provider, which hosts it on cloud infrastructure. Supabase and Apple act as service providers that process this data on our behalf and do not use it for their own purposes. Supabase's privacy policy is available at https://supabase.com/privacy

How long we keep it

We keep your data for as long as your account exists. If you delete your account, we delete your account identifier, username, friend connections, and all recorded results. This happens immediately and cannot be undone.

How to delete your data

Open the app, go to Settings, and tap Delete Account. This permanently removes everything associated with your account. You can also email us at the address above and we will delete it for you.

Children

Neuro Alarm is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we will remove it.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, export, or restrict processing of the information we hold about you. The in-app Delete Account function covers deletion; for anything else, contact us at the address above and we will respond.

European Economic Area / United Kingdom (GDPR). Our legal bases for processing are your consent and our legitimate interest in operating the leaderboard and friends features. You have the rights to access, rectification, erasure, data portability, and restriction of or objection to processing, and the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

California (CCPA/CPRA). You have the right to know what personal information we collect and to request its deletion. We do not sell or share your personal information, and we do not use it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.

Security

We use industry-standard measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections and database-level access controls that prevent users from reading data belonging to people who are not their accepted friends. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Changes to this policy

If we make material changes to this policy, we will update the effective date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app.
